I’ve been nomadic for over 4 years now, I’ve worked all over the world and experienced how remote working differs in each country. And whilst this way of living is gaining popularity, I think there’s still much more to come.

I recently fell upon Lagos; I decided on a last-minute booking not really knowing what to expect… here we are, still here, one month later.

I am falling in love with the place more and more every day.

Portugal is by far my favourite place to live and work as a digital nomad. I had no doubts that I wouldn’t enjoy my time in Lagos, however as I did wonder what to expect as it’s such a small town. It’s quite the opposite, it’s a town full of charm, beautiful streets, cute cafes and such a friendly environment.

The nomad community here is huge, with weekly meet-ups, events, great places to work from plus awesome beaches to surf.

One of my favourite things to do in a new town is to explore what the city has to offer. Of course, that means discovering the best coffee & laptop-friendly cafes… here are 4 of the BEST remote work-friendly cafes in Lagos, Portugal
