Get Tipped (or Tip Another Writer) Through Medium’s Big Update

Will you be putting money into my tipping jar?

Medium continues to upgrade the platform by introducing new ways for writers and creators to engage, share and support one another.

It’s an awesome new feature, where you’re able to switch on the option of allowing readers & writers to send you tips through third-party platforms of your choice. These platforms include Ko-Fi, Patreon, or PayPal — or link to an organization for readers to donate on your behalf.

How to set this up?

Go to Settings > Audience development > Tipping > click Manage settings.

In Manage settings, you can set your tipping to connect with your Ko-fi account, Patreon, or Paypal.
