After hearing that Forge is looking for writers to share some ‘wisdom that makes your life just a little bit better’ got me thinking — what works for me?

A Morning Routine.

When you have no routine or structure to your day can actually make you feel more mentally drained than keeping to any routine. You can easily watch your goals slip away and habits become non-existent.

Since that realisation many years ago, I’ve crafted a personal and positive morning routine.

However, you still may be wondering why having a daily routine is so important, let me tell you why…

  • Healthier Lifestyle: Often it’s tempting to hit the snooze button rather than getting out of bed immediately but this only wastes your time. With a morning routine, it’s much easier to avoid bad habits and to develop healthy ones. i.e taking the time to exercise before work.
