Why Do I Love Working Remotely?
Remote working is on the rise, time to find out why it works so well with my lifestyle.
With more and more companies allowing their teams to work flexible hours, it’s clear remote working is on the rise. Of course, the ability to work from home has been possible for years but working remotely full-time is certainly becoming more mainstream than ever before.
One of the most popular reasons people want a remote job is it offers them a flexible lifestyle. For me, it allows me the freedom to plan my own day, which means my career and personal life can coexist — it’s my newfound freedom. It’s honestly the best step I’ve made, there is no way I will be heading into an office any time soon that’s for sure. I’ve met like-minded people who have the same passions and motivations. I’ve learnt a lot about many cultures and religions. To give you an example of how varied my days can be, I recently spent one morning before starting work, chatting to 2 monks in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Today, I’m writing this from a cute balcony in Barcelona, with the sun shining down on my face.
