What 100 Days Of Lockdown Taught Me
Yep, you read that right, 100 days — not that I’ve been counting.

Although many of us can’t wait for life to be back to ‘normal’, during all of this, life for me, if not everyone, has slowed down compared to pre-lockdown.
I’ve valued this time and I want to hold onto this pace before accelerating back into the so-called ‘normal’, whatever that is these days, and ensure I continue appreciating the smaller things in life.
Here are some of the best things I’ve learnt about myself during the 100 days:
- The weather really affects my mood, even my manager picked up on this, oops. I’m either glowing with happiness when the sun is shining or slowly getting by in the rain. Whilst there’s nothing better than laying in bed listening to the rain, there’s nothing more demotivating when you need to get up and be productive.
- I found a new love for home work-outs. 20 minute of exercise a day really does do wonders to boost your energy and there is really no excuse not to find that time within a 24-hour day.
